The best and most under-utilized method for getting free leads for MLM or Multi-Level Marketing is simply leaving comments on high page rank (PR) blogs.  When you are just starting out in MLM, you want to set a goal for the number of comments you post every day and then follow through with it consistently. Not every comment you write is going to be approved and don’t expect to get a ton of click throughs immediately.  Leaving positive,  interesting, and insightful comments will help you build relationships, become recognized in the community and eventually get free leads for MLM opportunities or affiliate offers you’re promoting.  If you’re consistent and you add value to the conversation, people will start to know you and click on your links.  A good rule of thumb is to never post derogatory or negative comments. If it is questionable in your mind, don’t do it.

A secret trick to finding highly ranked blogs and forums is to fill out, and copy & paste the following text into your browser and click enter:

site: inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “your product”

This basically means that the term blog is incorporated in the URL and you can publish a comment without needing to sign in.  The minus sign means Google will ignore any blogs that are not accepting comments and you must manually sign in before commenting.

Clearly “your product” is anything you are selling or promoting.

Higher Quality Free Leads for MLM 

Look for highly ranked, active and relevant blogs to assure you get the highest quality free leads for MLM.  Always make note of the dates of posts, you don’t want to waste time and effort posting comments on deserted and friendless sites. If you have the legendary SEOQuake tool bar installed on your computer, it will conveniently provide you with the Page Rankings of the blogs you are looking at.  PR starts at  zero and goes up to nine. The higher the PR, the more powerful the backlink. Backlinking to blogs with a PR of 2 or 3, is far, far more beneficial than backlinking to blogs with a PR of zero, comprende?

More Free Leads for MLM

Keep in mind, the more comments on a blog post, the better the chances of having your comment approved. When you leave comments, keep them positive, relevant, and non-spammy sounding. The blog master is providing you with a useful backlink so leave something worthwhile and valuable in exchange. An inappropriate comment isn’t going to benefit you,  the blog owner, or anybody else for that matter…and it’ll likely be disregarded or trashed, which means that you just wasted your time for nothing?  Keep in mind, there will be times when you leave awesome comments and they will be ignored or trashed for no particular reason whatsoever.  Just remember, you are subject to the blog master’s whims and you shouldn’t take anything personally. Don’t be attached to the outcomes, just stick to your routine consistently and  spend several hours each week blogging and commenting. Getting traffic and massive amounts of free leads for MLM is not going to happen overnight. Consistency is the key and will pay off in the long run. If you stick to this strategy, I promise you will get backlinks for your website. And regardless if you get free leads for MLM, it will get you quality backlinks and will advance your website rankings on the search engines.

No Follow = No Good = No Free Leads for MLM

Not all websites will allow you to leave backlinks for your website. Blogs and forums that do not allow you to post links in the commenting section are know as “no follow”. No follow commenting sections are of no use to you for backlinking purposes, so if you come across one, do yourself a huge favor and move on quickly.

To determine if a blog or forum is “follow” or “no follow,” go to the commenting section and see if the names of responders are highlighted in blue, i.e. “Linked”, or if they allow hypertext links in the commenting boxes E.g. http://sixfiguresmadeeasy.com.  If you wish to get free leads for MLM businesses, then you definitely want to get people to click on your link. This link should take them to your blog or capture page where there is a form available with name, email and phone number fields.  Name and email fields are mandatory, but I suggest having a phone number slot as “optional” only. Make a spreadsheet of all of the blogs you visit and track your results.  Eventually, you’ll know which blogs are the most beneficial and you can allocate your time and effort to those. If you make great contributions consistently on the right blogs, not only will you get great backlinks, you’ll develop valuable relationships that will transcend the blogging world. You’ll be able to connect with these people on other levels, collaborate, and possibly even recruit them into one of your programs or other businesses.

Your goal should be to write your comments in a way that makes people inclined to click on your link. They may not click your links or opt-in to your pages right away, but with consistency and the right strategy, they will begin to like, trust and respect you, which will greatly increase your chances. Develop a routine following this game plan and you are all but guaranteed to generate an abundance of quality free leads for MLM.
